You have a slightly above average shot. The ECs aren't too bad because you played 3 sports. The AP and SAT II scores could be better, but, more importantly, nothing really seems to stand out.

i agree.. and doesnt stanford place a lot of weight on sports? the girl who got in 2 years ago at my school did cross country, and this year i think another girl who does running will get in.

to tell u guys the truth, the profile i've posted is actually from a friend of mine who now attends Stanford. He was accepted to most of the top ivies, but rejected from Yale. thanks for ur opinions...

Your 3 on the APUSH definitely won't help you...if you had gotten a 5 though, colleges like that because of how hard it is compared to the other APs.

no no, I know the guy, he took the old SAT, got a 1580 on it, but we estimated his writing score, and I should probably say that a 750 is sellin him short, that's like the lowest he would probably score if he took the new one.

different schools have different weight systems

For example, our school only adds .06 per AP course. Before my senior year I had a 4.48, even with 8 APs. Our school switched off the 5 point scale because it rewards study halls (take APs and no electives or non-AP course but study halls instead)
