Any chance at UPenn?

Hi everyone, thanks for reading. I'm a senior and I'm thinking about applying to Penn this year. Do I have any shot?

I think my numbers are decent, but my ECs are very weak. Do I have any real chance at Penn?

I won’t claim to have intimate knowledge of UPenn’s admissions system, but from what I’ve read, EC’s seem to be more of a tiebreaker for students with extremely similar academics.

Considering you’re a Valedictorian, AP student, and got high SAT scores, you should probably be fine. By fine, I mean this school is at least a match for you. You’ve got just as good a chance as anybody else, considering the fact that UPenn seems to attract freshmen with very similar achievements. It’s definitely not a reach, but keep your fingers crossed!

you think that the admission offices first rank the applicants on their academic achievements and sat scores and only then look at the EC’s ? cause I’m in a mess it thats so  I think they look at the whole application. I hOpe they do. any way to know that ?
