<p>I’m applying Early Decision to Brown and am getting really nervous because a lot of people from my school are applying to Brown this year, so I just want a general idea of whether it’s even possible for me to get in so I know what to expect. </p>
<p>I took 2 courses at Brown over the summer with the 7-week summer session credit program and fell in love with it.</p>
<p>I go to a public high school in a relatively wealthy area in the mid-Atlantic region. There are a little less than 2,000 people in my school. </p>
<p>I do not have any direct relatives that went to Brown.</p>
<p>GPA: 3.957 w. before senior year. All As or Bs, except a C+ in precalculus/trigonometry junior year (math is not my strong suit).</p>

<p>I have taken 5 AP classes already and got 4s or 5s on all of the exams. I am taking 5 AP classes my senior year and two periods of journalism, which I am required to do as a newspaper editor. </p>
<p>Extracurriculars:
Ecology Club 9-12 (President 10-12) (started my school’s recycling program)
Newspaper staff 10-12 (section editor 11, editor-in-chief 12, received an award for being the editor of the year)
