<p>I say you have a good chance just have some safety schools that you will apply to.</p>

<p>You look like a good match, but there are no guarantees. You need to spread your net wide. I can guarantee you won’t get in if you don’t apply.</p>

<p>I’m guessing the most important factor here will be your essay, to help you separate from the crowd. When the admit rate is so low, it’s so hard to determine chance.</p>

<p>Everything looks good but CS is too competitive for a sure thing. You’d be best to call it a match/reach imo.</p>

<p>Some A-'s? Given your rank and gpa I don’t think this is any kind of problem at all. Race/gender? I don’t think Asian or male is a detriment (since CMU is loaded with Asian males), it’s just being female would be beneficial for CS specifically. You have stats good enough for any univ, including SCS, so it may come down to other factors. Depends on the competition too. Good luck.</p>
