I got accepted to the summer term of 2011 this past December. I'm just a little concerned that I haven't received any financial aid. I've sent in my FAFSA and I'm surprised that I haven't gotten offered some sort of scholarship considering I have like a 4.149 unweighted GPA and decent test scores. Is there any hope? Do they still give out financial aid this time of year?

Thanks.

Need based aid relies on the EFC that you received on your FAFSA. The lower the number, the more aid you get. If it’s too high though, you won’t get anything, maybe subsidized loans but that’s about it. That should be up soon if it isn’t already. As for scholarships, that all depends on when you applied since they are first come first served for the most part. What were your test scores if you don’t mind sharing? I could chance you but they don’t have an exact cutoff for scholarships. Also, did you apply specifically for summer or did UCF tell you that it was either summer or nothing? If the latter case is what happened with you then you probably won’t be in line for a scholarship :/

I’m on the same boat as you. UCF doesn’t offer any scholarships for the summer, as far as I know from asking other people on this forum and checking UCF’s website.
