Any Chance in the future?

<p>Hey..
I really wanna go to UCSB wen im applying for uni in about 2 years from now. but something tells me i dnt have a chance.
1 reason im an international student from ireland
second i would be looking a scholarship or a good fund of financial aid
and thirdly, i have very high steady grades througout school but we have a completley different education system than yours and i dont really know the requirements to get into american uni's.
1 of my top reasons for wanting to go there is for soccer. I am very good at it and have rerpesented my country twice at under 15.</p>

<p>I KNOW THIS KINDA SOUNDS LIKE A STUPID POINTLESS THREAD BUT ANY HELP OR ADVICE FROM YOU GUYS WOULD REALLY HELP. THANKS</p>

<p>Since it's a public school I don't know how financial aid you would get, if any. I might be wrong, I don't know a whole lot about international financial aid.</p>

<p>And I think UCSB is Division I sports. So if you're really good you might get a scholarship. But that's another thing I don't know much about.</p>

<p>If I were you I'd go the the UCSB athletic web site and find the contact information for the soccer coach. If you are good enough to be recrutied he will help you with the process. Good luck! :)</p>
