Any chance of Fall 2010 transfer with current 3.36 GPA?

Is this hopeless? I will complete the Spring semester and it will definitely raise my GPA, but I'm aware that UT will probably not be able to use that data in the admissions process.

I took 18 hours of summer classes before this Fall, and my GPA was a perfect 4.0. But it took me a while to get a grasp on the long semester scheduling. I'm only trying to get into Liberal Arts, but I realize that my GPA is pretty darn low. Any chance at all? :(

Below is what I have taken and what I will be taking this Spring:

English Composition 1 - A
English Composition 2 - A
History 1 - A
Government 1 - A
Government 2 - A
Intro. to Psychology - A
Principles of Public Speaking - C
Biology - C
College Algebra - B
Intro to Theater - B
Bowling - A

(What I will be taking)

Business Computer Applications
Precalculus
History 2
Forms of Literature
Physical Geology

By the way: all of these classes together form the community college's core curriculum I wanted to complete it for ease of transfer (Texas law says the core curriculum must transfer completely)..

Any encouragement, guys? :(

You have a chance. Make sure you have a badass application that is flawless. I have had friends transfer within the 3.2-3.4 GPA range, so you definitely have a shot. You have a lot of A’s and showed self improvement by doing better this past year.

Good luck.

3.36 is NOT a bad GPA…
