<p>thanks tigerash! i got a bit discouraged when i read the past posts on the really high scores & high GPAs and how they got rejected. i suppose hoping for the best and bracing for the worst is how we should approach this whole process. thanks again!</p>
<p>In case you didn’t see this in another thread, here’s some data:</p>
<p>Preliminary numbers show that for Fall 2012, Cal Poly accepted 30.7% of Freshmen Engineering applicants (3,402 accepted/11,082 applied). Entering Freshmen had an average GPA of 3.98, ACT of 30, and SAT of 1346 (math and reading only).</p>
