What will be my chances if I raise my SAT score significantly?

Ehhhh, so so. Academically, you don't appear especially strong for the ivies, and your extracurriculars lack focus; you don't seem to have one interest that stands out. Taking all honors and doing EC's to put on your college application isn't going to secure you a spot at an ivy league school. It also doesn't help that you're an Asian male.

In the next year, I recommend doing/writing about only the activities you really care about. Think about what you really value academically and in general and write about that in your essays.

Still, your academics aren't TOO low for Brown, but you need something else going for you or else you don't have a good chance.

Please excuse my candidness, but keep in mind that I'm just a high school senior and this is just one opinion. Best of luck in the applications process!

Sammo.... what school in georgia do you go to? I got to Dacula. My stats are pretty similar but my gpa and class rank are a little higher.

I go to Pope High School in Cobb County...
and yea I know I need an area of focus...so I'm going to volunteer this summer with Student Conservation Association, which is a competitive volunteer organization, i've heard...and while I'm interested in many areas...I guess my main focus, or thing I most enjoy is volunteering...mainly with Habitat for Humanity and National Honor Society

unfortunately my class of 2006 at my high school is extremely competitive...my friend with around 4.2 gpa is ranked 30, so...

I know this doesn't help you at all... But this really amused me: "a competitive volunteer organization"

Wow. I didn't know such things existed.

I know I really don't stand out, but does anyone have any suggestions on how i can show more of my uniqueness?

The bible stuff and community service are impressive, sammo.

I met some kids from pope at all-state chorus last week...lol

looks like all you gotta do is wait :-</p>
