I just concluded my junior year of high school, so I started narrowing down schools I want to go to. Pitt is one of my top choices, and I live like half an hour away, so it would be convenient. My unweighted gpa is about 3.3, with a 3.8 weighted gpa. I want to study computer science, and I have already taken 2 Java programming classes through Pitt and gotten A's in both. I took AP Calc AB as a junior, which is a year ahead of schedule. I'm honestly only good at math and comp. sci., while I'm a B science and english student, and a C history/social science student. These classes are all at the AP and Honors level. My SAT scores were 710 in math and 600 in reading. I understand they don't care too much about writing, but I got a 610. I've had a job for over a year and have sports and other extracurriculars that I don't care to list out for sake of boring everyone haha. So, straight up, do I stand a chance at getting in? What do I have to improve (other than my gpa obviously)? And is it too late to change whatever I need to change?
