Hey guys, this is my first post on CC long time lurker though.

So at first I was pawned into taking one of those princeton review classes and I was never really motivated I kind of just went and then occasionally zoned out, anyways the week after my PR class ended I took the March SATs and got a 1740, then I did some self studying for the May SATs and got an 1850 (1870 with SS),

These are my splits:

03/2010, 05/2010 SAT Test
540 Reading --> 620 Reading
600 Math --> 580 Math
600 Writing (7 Essay) --> 650 Writing (8 Essay)

I am planning on buying the BB from a borders tomorrow, but what do you guys think my main areas of focus should be? And how should I study ex. doing one problem at a time on practice tests and then checking solution or doing entire sections at a time?

Here are super specific splits if this helps haha

By the way i'm really sorry if this is an annoying post I just really want to get a great SAT score because I have a really weak GPA and a high SAT score would kind of detract from the GPA issue, thank you so much again.
