Any chance whatsoever??

White (Jewish) Male, Middle class
Live in R.I, but can claim CT residency as well
Public Magnet High School
First generation college student in my family

3 AP's taken (A- in AP English Language and B+ in Bio last year, currently have a B+ in Ap English Literature
Fairly tough courseload over the course of my HS career, pretty good amount of honors classes. Also, I'm taking 8 courses this year as a senior which includes about 4 business/computer classes if that somehow helps.
Lots of Leadership positions/Volunteer work/Clubs and sports/work experience which I'm including when they send in my transcripts and stuff. I'm also sending in the optional essay as well which I really like. I really love my EC's and stuff, which includes alot of leadership.

Unweighted GPA- 3.1 There is a rising trend in my grades though. My freshman avg was 82, same goes for sophmore year. Then my juniour year average was a 92, and so far in senior year I have all A's besides for 2 B+'s. I also have an A+ in pre-calc so far.

SAT- 1070 (out of 1600), 1610 (out of 2400). Yeah, I know, pretty damn crappy scores.

I already got into Arizona State and WVU, are Indiana's admissions kinda similar or no?

I'm hoping that my EC's, essays, and reccomendations can help me in, any predictions at my chances would be extremely helpfull. Perhaps the fact that I'm from R.I/CT can somehow help?

Indiana has an average GPA of 3.3, I believe. That puts you a little below their average and GPA is the most important factor.

For your test scores, you are right around their 25% marks, a little higher. If you had recs and essays that you sent, that will only help you, as well as an EC list.

You're about an average applicant to the university. Indiana is similar in admissions to ASU and WVU, but they are a much better university academically. I'd say you have about an average chance, which is about 75%. Indiana wants your money.

Thanks. Also, I don't think they'll receive all my materials (including the application) until mid December or so. Will that decrease my chances you think? or is that fine? I figure December is about the month where they probably receive the most applications.

It will decrease your chances - as you will be behind the bulk of applicants to the university, and less spots will be avaliable. But I still think you would have a good chance of admission.
