any chance with a downward GPA but high standardized tests?

So I am starting to get a bit nervous about the admissions. How unfavorably do they look at a downward trend in GPA (even if its matched with an upward trend in workload?)

10-11 GPA: 3.55 unweighted, 4.08 weighted
however, heres the disparity: my 10th grade unweighted was closer to a 3.83, and my junior year unweighted is closer to a 3.0 (its just that I took 5 weighted courses of total 6 in 11th grade as opposed to 3 of 6 in 10th grade)

SAT I: 2290 ; 2310 superscore
AP calc AB : 5
AP calc BC : 5
AP EURO : 5
AP Chem : 5
AP calc subscore : 5
AP stat : 4
AP US : 4

SAT II are a bit "meh" :
math 2c: 770
chem : 650
US : 680

I have a few awards, but not much:
AP Scholar with Distinction
PSAT National Merit Semifinalist (228 score)

2 varsity letters each for track and cross country

created my own tutoring company a few months ago as well

and apparently, my common essay for the commonapp was one of the most moving things a few friends (who are all in Ivys now) have ever read.

oh sorry, im applying under CAS : Sociology

thanks

My friend's NYU roommate was VERY similar to you. I think she may have been waitlisted at first, but she's there now and even has a CAS scholarship.

You're probably in in my opinion.

I'd say don't even worry...

did i mention I also got a C in junior year? :(

but thanks for the words of console
