<p>Your test scores are WAYYYY too low. The SAT is 150 points too low and the SAT IIs should be closer to 750 each. Yet, being African-American certainly is the wildcard. I don't know enough about how many SAT points being URM floats you, so I'll say that your chances largely depend on how desperate NU gets for diversity</p>

<p>No. He/she was talking about the lack of females who apply to engineering schools. It would help you to apply to the engineering school if you were a female but being a female hurts you for all the other schools. That being said, it is not going to be easier for you to get into NU by applying to the engineering school if you haven't demonstrated a lot of interest in it through your ECs.</p>
