I want to major in political science/ international relations and eventually I'd like to go to law school with a focus in international law. Also, how is JHU'[s music department...?

i have no idea about your chances but my brother is a freshman there and he got a 1360 and his classes were a lot like yours...you seem to have more ecs than he did though! also, this probably wont help you either but about their music program... when i visited there my brother took me to this concert the department was holding and it was absolutley incredible! i applied there as well but just because my parents made me.. good luck!!

Yes, they have a great music program; JHU even offers its own school of music. I think you have a fairly good chance, especially if you can get those scores up. Take AP German. Also, you might consider taking a science your senior year. I'd put JHU as a slight reach right now.

actually I just found out that AP German isn't going to be offered next year. Would you suggest I take AP Physics C over AP European history?

No, I think you'd be better sticking with AP Euro since you're interested in international law. I didn't realize that in my first post. Good luck! :)

If you want to drop anything for a science, drop econ. It's not hard to self-study it.

If science isn't your strength / love, taking another class in place of it should be ok, since you're applying for a non-science major. I'm not taking "real" math (AP Stats instead) and there's no science in my schedule: instead, I loaded up on history and writing classes. I'm having a happier senior year, because I'm working with my strengths, and it didn't seem to hamper my application.

Yea...I'd drop econ in a heartbeat but its required to graduate w/honors and it's only a semster course....I'm thinking about taking physics joint enrollment but it would have to be at a local community college (perimeter).
