Andrew, you are in good shape. Your application should be very strong at UVa because they look at the whole package. I'd say your chances at this moment would hover around 70-75%.

To improve your application, I would retake the SAT if I were you. As an OSS applicant, you are really fighting with a lot of stellar candidates. I would shoot for another 40 points in M/V and try to tack on another 90 points in W. That would give you a 1500/2250 which is very impressive. Don't worry too much about the SAT II's. I would take only Math 2 and US (unless you are applying to schools which require 3) because Lit is quite the beast. Try to get 700+ on your SAT II's. Lastly, I recommend that you really try to show how well-rounded of an applicant you are in your essays. If you follow my advice, your chances will reach 90% and maybe even a likely letter. Good Luck.

I think your 1460/2120 is fine, those are excellent scores and you can even make some ivy leagues with that SAT and good essay.

i was an OOS admitted with 1400/2060 if you need someone to compare to. Your SATs are much better than mine

I wouldn't worry about the SAT scores either, I was admitted as an OOS with 1400/2040, you're already way ahead. Make sure you do well on the SAT IIs though, try to very well on Math II, since depending on the person, lit can be a real pain in the behind.

wow thanks guys.

yeah, im not sure if im going to take the SAT again, but I don't see why I wouldn't. Are the SAT 2s important enough to affect my application seriously? And any advice on the essay?

SAT II's are barely taken into consideration at UVa. It's good to take them though because it's required at other universities. It's more for placement reasons than anything at UVa.
