Not to be one of the million people who ask this question but I'm so nervous, I'm in love with Columbia...So far, I've gotten into Fordham at Rose Hill, Penn State University Park, UDel. Honors, Binghamton, and Hartford Honors. Waiting on NYU and Hopkins. Didn't get a "no" yet.

SAT: Critical Reading - 760, Writing - 680, **Math - 580 (<---I know it's low but it reflects my math/science grades throughout high school, not stellar, but definitely not bad. I have no intentions of pursuing any career that involves math or science.)

SAT II: Lit. (750), U.S. History (730), Math I (620, better than on the SAT I so I'm hopeful), and Bio. (630)

APs: AP World (4), AP Lit. (4), AP U.S. (5)...taking AP French & AP Gov. and Politics this year as a senior.

My grades have been very good, with a full schedule. I've taken all Honors/AP/College English, History/Social Sciences and Language courses, as well as some Honors Math and mostly Honors Science courses (Honors Earth Science, Biology, and Chem., with Regents Physics). My unweighted GPA is about a 95 and my weighted is about a 104/105.

I have been very active in my school's music program (I'm graduating with somewhere between 9 and 11 music credits). I play flute, piano, drums and steel drums/pan. I have been in my school's marching band since the 7th grade (I played flute for several seasons before switching to the snare on the drum line), and was a drum major (it's basically "captain") for my senior year. I also play in the jazz band, as well as the pit band, the steel drums band, a local youth symphony, my church's rock band, etc.

I also founded a Student Music and Arts Council, was VP of my school's chapter of the French NHS, was a member of the regular NHS, and was selected for a Rotary Youth Leadership Conference. I also ran three seasons of winter track (and won a sportsmanship award my first season), as well as one season of spring track.

I have worked/volunteered for the past several summers.

I feel like I have a solid resume, and I know I have some great recommendations, I'm just a little nervous that mid-80s to low-90s in the maths and sciences will hurt me - should I be worried?
