<p>Could anyone tell me what kind of chances I might have 4 UCB?
I'm thinking it's not going to be high since I got turned down by UCLA, so if most of you agree, then I'd want to get mentally prepared for next week (and trying not to post anything stupid), also deciding what college I might want to attend.</p>

<p>EC: lots of science fair awards including International Fair 3rd award, 2 times County Fair 1st awards, 2 times school fair 1st awards, one regional award, 3 dept awards from schools, and some other school honors...</p>
<p>2 yrs of independent science research at institutions (for science projects), summer intern at UCB bioE dept, southern california science academy this yr, CSF 2yrs, ETS 3 yrs, red cross club 1 yr, school tutoring this yr </p>
<p>I have been in United States for 4 years (exactly as for today!), start in US High school in freshmen yr, I took some classes every summer (except the last) at community college to improve my English.
I did kinda mention my foreign background in personal essay, but I mostly focus on describing my family harship and how that affected me. The UC essays are rather word limited. And the other essay I focused on my path and interest in science.</p>
