Will take 3 SATs
2 OUTSTANDING references, 1 optional

Do I have any chances?

what is your class gpa, ranking, grades etc.? That is usually the most important admissions factor.

SAT scores could hurt you, so if you can do retake them and try to increase your score by 200-300 points. If you cannot retake them, and if your high school gpa is very good, then you might want to mention in your essay why you didn't do well in your sats.

Your ECs are unusual and excellent but it's hard to say anything about chances without your gpa

My GPA 4.98 out of 5.00
My Rank School doesnt rank but 10% (132 students)

TOEFL iBT 105

My grades

Math 4 years all A (incl. calculus)
2 Foreign languages 4yrs - All A
Croatian 4 - All A
History - A,A,C
Biology - A,A,B
Latin - 2 yrs - All A
Music, Art - 2 yrs - A
Chemistry - 4 yrs - A
Geography - 4 yrs - A
Philosophy, Sociology, Psychology, Logic - 1 year - A
Computer S - 4 yrs - A
Politics - 1 yr - A

Attending two schools for 11 yrs

Your GPA and grades are good, and it's clear from your subject choices that you have a wide range of interests, which works in your favour. As I said before, though, the SAT scores could be a problem.

Now if you could only retake the SATs and improve your scores (something which I am sure you are capable of) it would help a lot. Maybe you can even apply RD instead of ED to give yourself more time.

your sports are really really poor.

Yes,that true retake the SAT and your selection is almost there(provided you write a good essay) you have good grades and EC's....

As long as u increase a little bit ... SAT scores won't be a problem
As long as you write a good essay, with those kind of stats i'm sure you can get into almost any place.

i still think a total lack of sports will hurt him.

Total lack of sports? That will not hinder him/her. It is well obvious that the OP is an acadamically well rounded person.
If you think lack of sports will hurt him, what about lack of music?
Furthermore, the OP has taken up swimming for 2 years - so it's not a TOTAL lack of sports.
The OP has strong leadership, cultural and acadamic points.

OP, if you can retake your sats, go for it.
If you cant, just cross your fingers. You have just as much as chance as other intels with similar stats.
Good luck:)

academically well rounded isnt the same as well rounded. anyone who sits at home all day can be academically well rounded, im not sure if thats what ivies want.

Hey,your acadmics is good,...I suppose, you will have to give SAT 2 also?
If yes,I know you can,Give it a blow.....perhapes that will compensate your SAT 1.........Karan89 is right upto a certain point, but you are not that bad..you have good chances...(with good essay n SAT2)..

You should better retake SAT1...perhapes the DEC. 2 date is the right and last one(for atleast Stanford,CMU,UC..)

You will have to apply via paper app; they don't allow such large First names on the on line app.

Just curious how did you managed to write such an Hi-fi paper when you got 580 on M SAT?

I am thinking of some ivies as well…worth trying?

Need some advice as to where do I exactly lie in my application process..
Competitive, slight chance, no chance, strong points, weak points??

I am desperate to 'know myself' help me out...

You dont require to take up a ''hardest subject'' to get into good colleges, and nothing is ''impressive'' for recommendations, its an easy thing to get,as far as your EC's are concerned, well, they are good(only if considered the country you are in...NEPAL isnt it?)..
And you are applying to ''15 colleges!!!'' well, thats amazing to me as I hav only reached upto 10 colleges yet!!!lol...(just kiddin')
well,as for Ivies is concerned,no one can exactly tell you of ''no chances'',everyone will advice you to make your app as strong as you can...

Actually taking up the hardest course does help a lot. In fact a lot of college websites say one of the most important factors in admission is the intensiveness and difficulty of the courses taken up in the final one or two years.

i totally agree...no wonder IB students get in so easily into top universities

Here we are, again making out points without proper proof(dogmatic),It MAY help if you seriously LACK in EC's and SAT scores....
