Any chances at great schools if suspended

<p>Hi CC'ers!</p>

<p>I have read here since high school but never posted. I am currently attending a local university after I was suspended from my small D3 school. I am trying to apply to transfer somewhere else and I am curious if any of you think I have any chances at top schools. Here are my stats:</p>

<p>High School</p>

<p>4.05 GPA
SATs 19000s
three sport varsity athlete
volunteered 300 hours
started volunteer group
Great recs and recommendation letters</p>

<p>College 1/ where I was suspended:
2.69 GPA
suspended for taking 4 beers from someone
varsity athlete
Can get rec letters (i think about 3 good ones)</p>

<p>Current not good college:
3.89 GPA
Tutor
have two other jobs
promoted to teaching assistant
great rec letters </p>

<p>*I am looking at GW, Syracuse, Pitt, Drexel, Harvard (i know you think am crazy), Penn State. do you have any other school suggestions or do you think i have a chance at these schools?

<p>How many credits do you have at your current school?
How long were you at the prior school?
How long was the suspension for and were you allowed to go back to your first school?
What will your first school actually say the charge was about? (Theft? or other)
New schools will want you to be done with your suspension and able to go back to the prior school but choosing not to. </p>

i had 28 credits at my old school was there for a year. I currently have 18 plus credits at my current school from this past semester and will probably have the same amount next semester. My suspension was for a year but based on what you said about schools wanting you to be done with your suspension and deadlines for schools being mostly in March (i was suspended in May so the year will end in may) should I just go ahead and apply or wait. any of these schools are later deadline schools.
I was suspended for allegedly stealing 4 beers from someone’s fridge (i actually didn’t) before that i was on probation for jokingly hiding a friend’s phone. No academic related stuff though. I have a spotless record at my current school. I have close to a 4.0 gpa, 3 jobs and great recs.
