Any chance kiddies? I like it a lot there.

Alex in CT.
:D

looks solid enough. The thing about Mcgill though is they dont really look at anything other than gpa, class rank, course load, and test scores, which can help some applicants but hurt others. With your stats it's worth a shot at applying.

mcgill uses the minimum cut offs, so chances are you are in, im more worried about myself, mcgill is my first choice, 87 average 1280 sats, 720 world history 610 writing bio...530, i know its horrible, i have no idea what happened, i got a 4 on the ap

yeah ive been seriously looking at mcgill too. i got the stats i think...1380 satI, 3.8uw gpa, 800 writing, 780 us his....but very limited ec's, so for that reason im thinking mcgill would be a good fit.

As a frosh at McGill right now, I'd say all three of you have solid chances of getting in, and best of luck to you!

McGill is an Awesome school...I am really impressed so far and an enjoying life here a lot :)

how bad are the winters there lol? only thing i could see maybe not liking about the area as i've only been to montreal in the summer.

haha that's the thing...this is my first time in Montreal so I have no idea how bad. I've heard interesting stories and am a little frightened.

So far it's not bad, chilly, yeah, but nothing a good jacket doesn't fix.

However the numbers I've heard floating around to describe winter is -30 to -40 celcius, plus wind chill. As a Seattlite I am a bit worried about this.
I'll let you guys know how it goes ;)
