Any Chances for Cornell Engineering and Arts and Science?

Reflection:
Strengths: recommendation, passion in chemistry, interest in a variety of disciplines (even though i tend to have lower grade in english and social studies than math and science because of language barrier), grades (depending on the standard), SAT II
Weaknesses: SAT I (especially reading and writing), essays, work/intern experience, extracurricular activities (such as community service)

Just a question, why did you choose Engineering over CAS?
Also, why didn't you do something interesting in on one of your summers.
Also, you wouldn't need to worry about writing, I'm pretty sure they don't care about it.
Also, why would the essay be a weakness, the essay is like 33-50% your application.

actually essay's can do A LOT for you if they are good

they are the only thing that individualizes the student from another one and shows the students creativity

a decent shot I would say

Yeah, I would say you would stand an okay chance as long as your essays weren't TOO bad... but do note that with your 2 in Lang, if your essays were horrible, then they might have to re-evaluate your app...

mmm... not very good. Asian male is BAD for eng. In addition, I don't see any ECs related to science in your app, and the only significant ECs you have are related to track/running.
