UC GPA’s? https://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/

College budget since the UC’s will be $65K/year? Which UC’s are you targeting?

AP/IB or DE courses?

SAT subject tests?

Sorry for the brief description; I thought a long one would be unfriendly to readers.

My bad grades are mostly in my first two years, so my UC GPA would be approximately 3.7 UW, a bit over 4 Weighted. My parents are very supportive, and moreover I am prepared to carry debt on my shoulders. Education is really #1 to me. I am targeting UC Berkeley, UCLA (both extreme reach schools), and UCSD.

My US high school didn’t provide many APs so I headed for DE on my senior year. I took AP USH and AP Eng Lang and a couple Honors classes in 11th grade, and I would be down with 6 college classes by this fall prior to applying RD (started with summer courses).

I am planning to take a SAT Math 2 subject test this December and add it to my application. I am studying hard, and luckily I have decent math skills so I suppose 800 is not a dream.

Ga Tech is very focused on GPA and rigor for admissions. In 2018 only 4% of the admitted freshman had a gpa under 3.75.

If you are getting a capped weighted UC GPA in the 4.0 range, then several of the UC’s would be viable options. UC’s tend to be very GPA focused and CS is probably the most competitive major for the UC’s so definitely apply widely. CS admits will have above average stats.

2018 Freshman admit rates for UC GPA of 3.80-4.19 capped weighted and not major specific:
UCB: 10%
UCLA: 9%
UCSD: 34%
UCSB: 38%
UCD: 41%
UCI: 38%
UCSC: 70%
UCR: 84%
UCM: 95%

2019 UC capped weighted GPA averages:
UCB: 4.23
UCLA: 4.25
UCSD: 4.23
UCSB: 4.16
UCI: 4.13
UCD: 4.13
UCSC: 3.96
UCR: 3.90
UCM: 3.73

2019 Data:
25th - 75th percentiles for SAT totals:
