it seems as though everyone has heard :(
do you think that USC is sending out any more Spring admissions?
I would be beyond thrilled to get any sort of admission, but I just don't know anymore.

also, I've heard that people with less-stellar stats are likely to receive spring admission, since the university doesn't have to record the stats of their Spring admits?

I received my spring admission packet today and it was postmarked the 25th. I applied for Marshall and my status changes were: changed from reviewed to forwarded on the 23rd, was able to access the back door links on the 25th, changed from forwarded to reviewed on the 26th, and received packet the 27th. Don’t base everything off statuses though, good luck to everyone who has not heard yet!

You probably shouldn’t be calling people who did nothing to offend you “fools”, bro. It’s rude. Moreover, your statement is not necessarily true - I think you’d be surprised the amount of people who get into UCLA but don’t get USC, and vice versa. UC schools don’t have the same exact criteria as USC when reviewing applicants for admissions - sure, USC and UCLA admits may have similar SAT scores/GPAs, but that isn’t enough to make the statement “if u shud get into ucla u shud get into usc” valid. The fact that one is public and the other is private also factors in to a certain extent.

college kid92, I don’t blame you for thinking that (I have a few friends with that kind of attitude and it’s really easy to go along with it), but that statement is rather ignorant. (and not a good way to make friends in this section of CC)

I bet the USC admissions people can name reasons for why they accepted or rejected each of their applicants. Not so sure about UCLA (but don’t quote me) I feel like USC knew me better than UCLA before they accepted me.

I got into both UCLA and USC, but even after I knew I was in to UCLA, it didn’t make me feel any more confident about USC. (my first choice)
