This summer, I'm going to be applying to 4 programs- Rutgers SAC, UArts' program, Brown's Theaterbridge, and NU's Cherubs. Last year I went to BUSTI and had the time of my life...and this forum was instrumental in choosing it!

Anyone have a review of Cherubs? Or any of these other 3? Really, any info you have is so helpful.

I have heard amazing things from the Rutgers program and I think that would be a great contrast to your BUSTI experience.

I did BUSTI in 2012 and this past summer I did a classical program at Guildhall in London, I thought having such a contrast in programs was super helpful coming into college auditions and just in general to start to learn a whole new skill set.

I’ve heard great things about Cherubs, but I feel it is REALLY similar to BUSTI and I think it would be great to do something totally different this summer. I also highly recommend the three week Shakespeare course at Guildhall if you will be 18 before the summer. It was an amazing experience.

Hello! I hope I’m not too late! I was a Cherub this past summer (for both 5 week acting program and 2 week MT program), so let me know if you have any specific questions, I’d love to answer them.

Thanks for offering to answer questions about Cherubs, classygal3. Could you please tell me more about the faculty? I believe they are not Northwestern faculty. Is this correct?
