Any Civil Engineering Transfers? Post Your Stats Here

I wonder what pool of students I would be up against this year. Feel free to post previous stats from those whom already transferred. People applying this year could also get a feel for the competition.

Here are my stats:
-UCLA - CIVIL ENG
-UCI - MECH ENG
-UCB - CIVIL ENG
-UCD - CIVIL ENG
-UCSD - MECH/STRUCTURAL ENG
-UCSB - MECH ENG

2 year transfer

Major: Civil Engineering

GPA: 3.92 (one B in a class taken in high school that doesnt even count for anything at the UC but credit -.- but is transferable)

Pre-Reqs: All finished with an addition of a few extra engineering courses the school does not articulate. + some AP CREDIT

EC's: participated in an Greener Earth project (talked about it in personal statement). other than that, none

Awards: Deans list & a scholarship from an engineering firm

Work: Worked for one year as a bookkepper and cashier

Volunteer Work: B&GClub for a short period, CircK

personal statement: it sounds okay... still in progress !

TAG Submitted & Approved (does this lower your chances at other non-tag schools like berkeley and ucla? )

I don’t think TAG lowers your chances for other schools. Other campuses can’t see where else you applied.

Bump! No civil engineers?!

lol. With a 3.92, you don’t even need to post this thread. You’ll be fine. The avg GPA for UCLA last year was 3.89. I assume it will be a little more competitive this year but you’re still in the clear.

It’s crazy how UCLA went from 3.7s to 3.89s within a few years.

You’ll be fine, man. UCLA and UCB are the only toss ups like always for every students. ha
