<p>What have your experiences at Columbia been like so far?</p>

<p>I just want to compare NYU and Columbia's.</p>
<p>I don't know about NYU, but at Columbia, there isn't really much time to just be bored. And there's almost always something other than work to do on campus, in terms of cultural events and such. The dorm system at Columbia is really wonderful, but it's incredibly important to research the dorms before you choose one. I've got tons of really funny stories about people who didn't research the dorms, and ended up somewhere they didn't want to be. Although most of our sports teams aren't that great, there are a few really devoted sports fans. And there definitely is a campus atmosphere, with the quads and the few frats. It definitely is a really fun experience, although now it's finals time, so that makes everyone act somewhat crazy.</p>
