Hello. I am jerrry4445. This is my first year taking my first AP exam, which is AP Calculus AB, and I have many more to come: AP Chemistry and AP World History.

My feelings for my first exam were nervousness and pressure. What sucks about AP Calc as my first exam was that i am sophomore who self-studied for the course, which is considered a disadvantage for me. (I took the exam because my friend encourages me). In the beginning I really wanted to receive a 5 really badly, but I later choose to accept my grade as a 4. But after the exam, i still feel nervous about my AP grade for calc. So those are my overall feeling about my first AP exam.

So, any comments from you first-time ap test takers.

You took the test already…

i didn’t want you to respond to my post. i want to know how people from any subjects feel when they took their first ap exam this year.

Well I took my first AP last year in Chemistry. I was incredibly nervous, could barely eat breakfast, and I came out of there knowing that I did not get my goal score of a five, since I BSed 2 entire FRQs. I did however receive a 4 and I was happy that I only took one AP my sophomore year. This year I’m taking/taken 3! (Literature, USH, and Physics B) I thought they already gave Calc AB?

I took AP Bio as a freshman, and I came out with a four. I thought it was a relatively simple exam, but I didn’t know much about APs then and I didn’t study much, so I did not get the 5 I wanted.
