We ended-up registering for the 15 meal plan. I thought long and hard about the 10 meal plan, but in the end the risk reward just wasn't obvious.

Since she will be there many weekends, I felt the flex bucks will get burned through fairly quickly and didn't want to deal with the I'm out of flex bucks and how do I eat this weekend. This way I know since she doesn't eat Breakfast that she is covered for the weekend.

We signed up for the student health insurance this morning, included the supplemental Major Medical to raise the limit to $1M. Pretty easy process on the web.

doing last of shopping for stuff we aren't going to get when we get to Orlando. Passing along a few deals we found recently.

Circuit City has the laptop security cable for $32 with a $20 rebate.

Penny's has a nice deal on X/L sheets, comforters, pillows and pillow cases

Zebes, small world we were at a Graduation Party yesterday and a friend is moving from Naples. They told us that we probably wouldn't know the place, but it was a town called Oviedo. I said gee isn't that fairly close to UCF. You never know.

I haven't been on CC for a while - actually, not since DS chose UCF, and there was no UCF forum.
Nice to "meet" you all.

My DS is also going to be in Tower 3. He has signed up for 15 hours, which worries me, but one of those classes is the Honors Symposium and another is the intro to engineering, and for some reason he thinks those won't be too demanding, despite the fact that they both have labs.

I was very impressed with the orientation and the amount of support offered for students. I want DS to take the 3 hour college 101 course, as well.

Yep. Small world. :) Hey, Mom2three, nice to mee you. (Zebes extends hand across cyberspace ) My DS's in tower 3, as well. He has that same honors symposium. I think he has 14 hours (5 classes, I believe). He's majoring in Economics.
