I'm looking for a community college in SoCal area that offers linear algebra class during summer? Thanks.

I know of a community college that offers diff eq., not lin algeb.

Oh well, sorry I'm of no help.

pcc does..

There may be 4 year colleges that offer lin alg in your area that allow anyone to take the course. I know in our area that the state school opens its courses to non matriculating students. Though our local comm college does not have a lin alg course, there are a number of private and public schools that do. The problem is that the privates charge a lot.

Thanks for PCC.
The only problem is that it doesnt offer multivariable calculus. Sorry for not mentioning this earlier.

I'm planning on taking both multivariable calculus and linear algebra duing summer, and i need a school that offers both. I know SMC offers multi-calc but not lin alg. PCC offers lin alg but not multi-calc. I do not want to have to commute between the two schools.

and yeah, the whole purpose of taking these in CC is to take advantage of cheap cost, so not interested in taking in 4 year univ.

by SO CAL what area do you mean exactly?

In SD there are schools that offer it, BUT, all the CCs here have a preq of Calc 3 for Lin Alg and DIff E

So Cal I meant north of Orange County, West of L.A. Downtown.

check elac.edu

east la college offering strong math class for summer 08.

you must hurry up enroll class

i hope this help OH! + Southern CA right? hehe
