Any community college transfer student get accepted?

<p>I was wondering if any community college transfer students got accepted into UCI yet??</p>

<p>It looks like 99% of the people on here are high school students, and I'm the only one from a CC on this UCI board. :D</p>

<p>Any idea if CC folks will get decisions on 3/1 also?</p>

I am actually a cc transfer student, and I heard from UCI in February.
I got in there, but I'm still waiting to hear from the other UCs.
I'll probably choose Irvine :)</p>

<p>ccc transfer here also who hasn't heard, got into cal poly and davis but irvine is one of my top choices.</p>

<p>irvine appeals to me too, but out of curiousity why is it one of your top choices (might help me in making my decision:)</p>

<p>Well for one I want to be down in socal (I'm in the bay area). Its relatively close to the beach, some of my closest friends attend, LA and SD are short car trips away (if you're not in traffic), and ya pretty much I like the location.</p>

<p>With that said...if ucsd, berkeley, or LA were to accept me I would go there lol but I would still love to go to irvine.</p>

<p>you make a good point haha. I'm seriously thinking about going to Irvine. I'm from the bay too and would LOVE to be in socal and close to newport!</p>

<p>p.s the only issue that I have with the school is the reputation of no social scene..I'm a social person and I like to party once in a while</p>

<p>My friend just got accepted a few days ago. He goes to my school and is also a cc transfer student like me.</p>

<p>But I've yet to hear from Irvine though, not that it matters anymore since I already got accepted to my 1st choice school.</p>

<p>btw, my friend who got accepted into irvine is a civil engineering major. i'm a computer engineering major. </p>

<p>i don't think there's anyway to figure out when irvine chooses to announce people's status. i believe it's completely random.</p>
