Any competitive summer language programs?

<p>I want to travel abroad or do some sort of immersion for language but I don't really want it to be one of those where you have to pay, so its basically who can pay goes, and its not competitive at all. Oh, and not NSLI-Y since the deadline's already passed. Thanks!</p>

<p>CIEE isn’t a language program, btw. It’s more of a cultural introduction to South Korea.</p>

<p>For summer program in the U.S. search “StarTalk summer programs”. These are language programs in “critical need languages” for high school students. Some are free or nearly free. Applications for 2012 aren’t available yet but will be soon.</p>
