I'm an avid golfer and plan on playing a bunch over the next four years. I was just wondering if there are any other golfers out there looking forward to it also?

And for current students, do you guys know anything about the RTJ Golf Course? Anyplace to practice during the winter? Any courses near Cornell? Thanks!

I play golf!!! Although I haven't been accepted, I would love to play golf for Cornell, even though they do not have a girl's team :'( There is a course on Cornell's campus, I am playing there over spring break. I'll let you know how it is.

since probably a long time. Yes there is a golf course, but it didn't look very plush when I saw it this past summer... It's no Pebble Beach I'll tell you that.
EDIT
But it's not ON campus;

The RTJ Course at Cornell is probably the best course in the area but compared to courses down south and out west, it'd probably just be considered average.

It's around the area where alot of the Ag. School is, like the botanical gardens, and stuff, but it is just across the street from North Campus.

Hmm....I'm also from Florida, so naturally I'm a golfer. I haven't played any while I've been up here; however, the course looks as good as the average course in the Orlando area from the outside...

BTW its actually far from any part of the Ag quad...its closest to the grad school apartments in North Campus (go look at a map).

Hey, i've been accepted to Cornell already and i have played the rtj course alot. I play golf for my highschool and we usually have a match there every year. Lansing high school plays it as their home course and it is also where states are held.

It is a nice course and it is definitely one of the harder courses i have ever played. I've played a lot of tough courses in florida, north carolina and by the new jersey shore and this is definitely just as hard if not harder than most of those.
