My daughter is a freshman at Muhlenberg so I might be able to give you some helpful information. My niece graduated about four years ago and she and her friends love the school.They were field hockey players.</p>
<p>The PreMed program is well respected, and a new Neuroscience/ bio building is being constructed. My d is "undecided" major and is taking liberal arts courses. She likes the small classes and nurturing environment.
Her weekend activities were involved with soccer this fall, so she will soon know what it is like to be off season and finding things to do.<br>
The theater dept is also renown, so if you have a child involved with that their weekends will be busy with that. We were on the campus two weeks ago on a Sat night and it seemed extremely quiet, but groups were using every inch of the performing arts building. We saw a small group of students waiting for the shuttle bus that drives the students to Lehigh Valley Mall and other locations off campus. The music group 311 was performing at Muhlenberg the weekend we visited.
My sense of Muhlenberg is it works for someone wanting a small community, especially if they fall into one of three groups: the athletes, the theater arts or pre meds.</p>
