any current UVM students?

What is it like? How difficult are your classes and what do students do for fun?

Hey! I'm a freshman at UVM so I can tell you about what I've seen so far. First off, UVM is so much fun! I love the courses I've taken so far. They were challenging but if you put the effort in you'll get the grades you deserve.

As far as activities...there are so many things to do! Believe it or not Burlington, VT is a very happening college town. There are boutiques, malls, and great restaurants. So Burlington offers a lot of things to do but at the same time there are fun things happening on campus. There's always a party to check out, or people to hang out with because it is a decent size school. During the winter there are a lot of people that go skiing and snowboarding on the weekends. But it's also just fun to hang out at the newly built student center.

If I could tell you one thing about UVM it's to look past the stereotype surrounding it. Everyone thinks it's this huge hippy school and while yes there are some people that could make you believe that....that's not all the school is about. It's a great school, I love it.
