i believe all uc's are on spring break-- do the admissions office get this week off too? i called sb on monday and somebody was there to answer, but i called ucdavis and nobody answered. do you guys think they took our apps. to miami?maybe after getting into a good mood they'll accept EVERYONE!horrah!I wish smc was on spring break!

I hope after the spring break my transcript will hv a good mood, and becomes all A's lol

Actually that is a good question, are decisions made at all over Spring Break? I heard from UCM last night, however does a school that's not opened get a Spring Break?

Everyone in college gets a spring break, but whether they get it now, later, or they have to work during it is the question. ;)

You hear a lot of stories from adcoms about how they take their work home with them during the holidays to read through them (this is for EA/RD decisions), so why would Spring Break be any different, especially since the turnaround time for transfers is only around 1 month?

Here's hoping they don't spill any pina coladas on my essays!

I know that at some schools, the faculty/staff doesn't take the whole week off during spring break. Georgetown's break was the first week of March, and I actually spoke to someone on the universities admission team, as well as two representatives from the school of nursing admissions throughout the week..so..mayyyyyybe they'll be slaving away over our applications :)

I doubt if they will look @ our apps in the spring break. Never the less, keep checking the website.

Ok...i got a notification..so they are making decisions this week.

but isn't the spring break for UC's next week?

some have theirs this week, like ucsd, ucsc, and their finals are also finishing up this week as my friends are slowly coming back home

just got a notification from UCSB...few mins ago when i checked out its website..

ucsd has spring break now...

Pina coladas are awesome.
