Any deferred students hear back yet?

I was deferred in the second or third round and I have yet to receive any further information from the school. Has anyone who was deferred heard anything yet?

stats in case they’re needed:

GPA: 3.37UW top 25%
SAT/ACT: 1510/33
Major: Finance/Econ through Fisher

I’m not exactly sure how this happened, but I was actually deferred in the first round of admissions decisions, then ended up being accepted in the last round. Even more weird, initially I was accepted into the science and technology exploration, but when I checked over this weekend, on my appstatus page, it says I’ve been accepted to their engineering program, which is what I applied to originally. I’m sure this is very uncommon, but technically, yes I have been deferred and also heard a final decision.

My son was deferred in first round of EA and we have not heard back yet. It sounds like they’ll release a round of decisions this Friday and another at the end of March. Not sure if deferrals will hear this week, my guess is not until the late March decisions. But it seems to change every year. Interested too if anyone else has heard. Congrats @realOG

Deferred in last round in January and have not heard anything yet either. D was accepted to Purdue with merit scholarship but deferred at Ohio State. Ohio Stae is first choice and we are in state. Would also qualify for half tuition at Ohio State. Both parents are alums of Ohio State and 2 siblings attend OSU currently. Keeping fingers crossed for Ohio State. Purdue acceptance and merit money is impressive but still a Buckeye at heart.

@Sorisky what’s your intended major?

@Banker1 Truly undecided, but was afraid to list that so she picked psychology.

Was anyone who was accepted at end of Feb deferred?

When defferral came, sent letter to admissions counselor with copy of 1st Semester grades, letter from high school guidance counselor and explained tOSU was first choice and intent to enroll if accepted.

Both parents are alumni, brother graduates May 6 from OSU. Sister is current sophomore at OSU.
And Mom works at OSU (half off tuition benefit!)

Wow. Long exhale. Been waiting 5 months for this!

Go Bucks!

@Sorisky Congratulations! With all our ties, grades & EC’s I’m surprised they deferred you.
