Congrats armarshall!

Thanks! If I went to Clark I want to double major in Communication and Culture and Drama and have a concentration in Holocaust Studies. For the 5th year program, I’m interested in their master degree programs in Communications, Geographic Information Sciences (GIS), and their MBA program. Of course I would only pick one of them! :)

I got in! With 12,000 a year too. I’m happy, first acceptance somewhere.

I ended up getting a wait-list letter from Ohio Wesleyan today. Who knew that was possible for EA? Haha, I don’t even care. Clark accepted me! :)

Yay congrats on your first acceptance!

I was accepted…but I can’t find the financial aid information?

I have a 3.54 GPA and 1800 SAT. I thought that I would get something… maybe i’m not looking in the right spot?

BlackRose,
I believe that only merit aid information came out with early action decisions. Need-based financial aid should come in the mail.

Yeah, if there is another letter for merit online. Fin aid wasn’t given yet

where do you find out about merit aid?

Josh,

that’s what i’m wondering as well.

Would it be in the letter? I applied for a scholarship and everything…

If you recieved merit aid, your acceptance letter online will specifically tell you that you got the aid, and there will be an attachment with more info.

The second letter is at the bottom of the screen… Just click on the attachment.

i don’t think there is a math education major. you just major in math and take education classes. i knew two girls who were doing it. i majored in math myself and minored in physics.

also as far as fifth year goes, its ridiculously easy to get in, but i hear they are starting to crack down because of how easy it is. i myself was accepted for the masters in finance program, and i didn’t even finish the application or take all the prereq courses, my gpa from my freshmen year also sucked and i got a c’s in the required calc courses, you need a b- or better in them, but the admissions lady said she would look the other way because i took the honors calc seq and because i got practically all As my sophomore and junior years.

i know one person who is doing the mba program, but i don’t know anything else about it.

Do you think they would let a non Geography/etc major do the Geographic Information Systems major?

if you’re asking about doing it for fifth year, i don’t know, but the requirements here, [Graduate Admissions ~ Clark University](<a href=“Accelerated B.A./Master's Programs | Clark University”>Accelerated B.A./Master's Programs | Clark University) say that you need to be either a geography or idce major.

geography is supposed to be pretty good at clark. its supposedly well known and ranked very highly. i think its also easy to get involved in research in the geography department even if you’re not a geography major. when i was taking differential equations, we had a professor from the geography department come to our class, looking for people who were good at math and could program. he was offering a stipend for summer research with free housing. it was a pretty good deal.

would any of you be willing to share your stats?

any one get an EA notification about the Making a Difference scholarship?

BlackRose, I got the $18000. My GPA is approximately 3.7/4.2, and my SATs were a 2220 with score choice. I hope that helps. To find out if you received a merit award, go down to the bottom of your acceptance letter page. It may say, “Multiple letters are on file for this account,” whereas you should click on the second link under that. Good luck!!!

Hi, I got in with 21,000 a year. 3.6/4.0 GPA UW with 9/10 APs, SAT M: 700 CR: 730, lots of ECs, including sports, some leadership positions…I thought my essays were great! Really showed how I embrace Clark’s motto in my life…also attached additional essay about extenuating circumstances, but connected it to why I want to do what I want to study/do in life. Still waiting on other schools and financial aid, since money is a huge factor on where I go, but I really, truly love Clark, and I’m so grateful for the acceptance and scholarships. I’d be more than happy to attend next fall. (:
