To make a long story short, I was admitted to Penn ED and am now debating the merits of flying over to PA for a campus visit come Winter Break (I live in California). I applied ED having conducted extensive research into academics and campus life at Penn but have yet to see the campus in person. Do you think visiting would be worthwhile (seeing as, well, I'd end up going regardless) or would it be a waste of time and money? Are there any other ED acceptees thinking of doing the same?

i say, if you have the money, why not see where you'll be spending the next four years? personally, though, i'd save the money (and probably get college stuff w/ it- school supplies, dorm stuff, books, etc.).

wait until penn previews week in april.

^ Agree 100% with tene.

Can someone explain what the previews week is?

Penn Admissions: Penn Preview Days

Although Penn Preview is open to all acceptees, it is intended to persuade RD acceptees to pick Penn over the other top schools that have admitted them. It has common as well as school-by-school activities, and is a decent introduction to the school.

Any idea when thiis is going to take place this year?

The email i received a few days ago said the dates were April 10, 11, 14, 17, 18, and 21.

interesting.... I didn't get an email about revisit... realicecream, was that school-specific?
