Has any accepted ED'ers still not receive their FA package yet?

Im a spring transfer which means im leaving in 6-7 hours and still havent received my FA package.

Im sure youll be fine!

hey, i got accepted ED. There are quite a few applicants who have not received their package yet. I called them a week ago and inquired about the status of my financial aid. The lady told me, it will most likely be available after the 16th (THE DEADLINE). But she said i could ask for an extension if fin. aid was a concern.

However, the officer from the Financial Aid Office said she would be able to email me the specifics before the 16th (since mailing it to me was out of the question). I only asked for three numbers, and I got them today!!

Tuition: $52,000
Financial Aid: $40,000
EFC: $12,000

Only 12 k, my parents said they would only be able to pay 20 k =]

I was pretty excited about that. Cornell really did stick to their plan.

So I would suggest calling "now" if fin aid is a major concern, because it was for me.

Mine was generated today and I called the Fin.Aid office but no one picked up!! I called them 5 times at diff. times of the day. Are they ever at their phones? ah

My son has not received his , but after reading the comments on CC , he called and they said they were still working on it but gave him his expected family and student contribution.

i was freaking out. i called today and they said they sent it out this morning and they sent me a copy in a pdf file, which was reallyyy nice.

Finally got mine today, after calling twice. Really really pleased with the package...a lot more than I was expecting

They finally sent it. I sent the FINAID like the Monday before Halloween. So if that was why it took so long, then so be it.
Also, on the FINAID, they said that if you are eligible for a FEE-Waiver for the $400 deposit, they allow you to waive it, but if you sent it already, they'll credit it to your account. Do not know what they mean by that. I really want spending money now.

Question: If my EFC is 13k for Cornell and my parents are already putting in 16k for my sister to attend a different college, should I appeal and see if they'll lower it/give me more aid? Or did they already take that into account? I don't believe I sent in information regarding my family's expenses relating to my sister.
