Any engineers got accepted or rejected to any schools yet?

I am an EE major with 3.3.... applied to UCLA, BERK, IRVINE, SD,SB,Riverside, Davis...
chance me and also tell me if you got back from any schools yet...
will finish most pre-reqs will miss 1 or 2 CS classes. Good essay good activity tag for irvine, sd and Sb. but will not completely finish IGETC. will need about 2 classes left for that.

Nopeeee. I don’t know if we hear last or what, but my engineering friends haven’t heard from any school yet either. I know a couple of CS people who already got in at Irvine though.

we dont have igetc for engineering. id say yes at the other schools. no at berk and ucla

@nada01 what were your friend’s stats? and did they have TAG? looks like the ppl who are finding out around now are either TAG students or have really high gpas…im a cs major trying to transfer to irvine, 3.26 gpa

@saad.ahmad Yup, TAG.

oh okay makes sense…it looks like they haven’t let all the TAG ppl know yet, so i guess we have to chill back for a while to find out…

I got in for CS at UCSD with TAG.

@ripicton
What was your GPA?

I’m planning to apply for UCSD this fall. Hope I get in with TAG and 3.5ish gpa :(. Really looking forward to the admission statistics

4.0 10char

that’s what I didn’t wanted to hear lol.

i got in UCI with TAG like a week ago. GPA 3.74 major in ME
n my application for ucsd is still pending orz

I guess the question is then: Have any engineering major been accepted that have less than a 3.5 gpa and no TAG?

anyone recieved acceptance letters yet? is it true they wait to reject everyone at the end? i havnt heard back from anywhere and im really starting to worry! :(

I believe they do wait until the end to reject people. But don’t be too worried, they also accept until the end.

Still nothing for me from any UC’s. EE transfer 3.5, no tag missing one physics class. Hoping for UCSD or UCSB, if not i’ll probably go to cal poly pomona (already accepted there).
