I didn't receive the booklet and answer sheet, so I'm wondering from someone who did if there seems to be any errors from the test. I know its rare, but my subscores add up to 137, which means I'm 1 question from a 35. I'll get the 35, I just hate taking the ACT, and want to be done with it. so yeah....

How do your subscores add up to be 137?
English- 2 subscores
Math- 3 subscores
Reading- 2 subscores
Science- no subscores

7*18= 126

And, the subscores don't necessarily add up to give you your composite score or raw score for each section.

35 math, 35 english, 34 science, 33 english-I didn't mean the subscores of the subscores

Unfortunatly that adds up to a 34.25 composite so you are just one point away from a 34.5 (which they round to a 35) I'm sorry, but seriously, I wouldn't take it again. A 34 is an outstanding score. Your in about the top .5% of everyone who takes the test, and if that was your first time, I definatly wouldn't take it again. 55% go up, but with a score SO high, it's very possible to stay the same or even decrease. Besides, with a score that high on a first time (assuming it was) that looks even better. Best of luck!

I agree..........

Ok um, there seems to be some confusion about the point of this thread. Yes, my scores add up to 34.25, thats why I asked if there seemed to be any errors in the test (for those who received their answer key and test booklet). If there IS an error, then i will have a 35 and will not need to take the test again. I know test errors are rare...but hey, it happens. So

If there was a test error and your test was affected, the act people would probably have sent you a letter about it. Personally, I believe your indulging in a little too much wishful thinking...I know that you really want a 35...but an error in the test is so rare that it is almost not worthwhile to think about....and even IF there were an error on one version of the test...It is highly likely you didnt even take that version of the test, considering there are about 15 diff versions out there...

That is true, Gumba makes a good point. There so rare that... well, I don't want to be negative but your score is most likely going to stay a 34. But unfortunatly I haven't recieved my test booklet from the mail yet so I can't say for sure. They said 4-7 weeks but I think some people mght have gotten theres in the mail already. If they have, mine haven't made it to my house yet. Best of luck.

heh, dont worry im not counting on it. Worst case scenario i retake it and BAM!
