<p>Yes, you just fill with tap water and it has a filter that is changed I believe every 3 months. I haven't tried it, but he said it helped the taste --maybe placebo effect :) ? In any case, it cut down on the purchase of bottled water.</p>
<p>they really do work -- we use a brita water filter in our house. That and you can put it in the fridge so the water is cold. :D</p>
