umm.........

..........

ginseng cures everything?

i am a pretty big one... in '98 when i shifted to a big new city and everythin seemed expensive, i had a bad cold and cough.. i relied on the natural remedies to cure myself, simple homemade ones... i try my best to not visit the doc..touchwood
and the home remedy sites are pretty useful

aloe heals cuts?

If you can get over a sickness without resorting to drugs, your develop immunity to that sickness and don't have to worry about it again. Also, the overuse of antibiotics has led to a rapid evolution of antibiotic-resistant bacterial strains. For these reasons, I try to use drugs and antibiotics as a last resort.

yep Dima, i totally agree with you. :D
try to stick to natural stuff as far as possible or situation allows

okay, so i opened up my big mouth too fast and now down with a cold and bit of cough...well stickin to takin steam from boilin water with bit of vicks rub paste in it... and prob eat more fruits...

My "quacko" doctor is into treating allergies, eliminating poisonous chemicals from one's environment, prescribing supplements, and other such things. He uses drugs only as a last resort. So yes, I'm totally into this stuff: it worked wonders when no drugs seemed to work for me.

I very very very rarely get sick, and when I do it's so mild it doesn't affect me at all. I think it's because as a little kid I would get sick all the time, and very badly. I think I've developed a strong immunity to a lot of things, because besides basically never getting sick, whenever my family gets the flu, or pnuemonia, or the cold or anything else, I'm the only one out of six not affected.

Actually... funny you mention this book. The author, Kevin Trudeau, is a convicted criminal who has served jail time for duping customers on previous infomertials (like Mega Memory and Speed Reading). In fact, he and his cronies were so malicious in screwing consumers that the FTC prohibits him from selling anything except publications (books, newsletters, etc - it's covered under free speech in the US Constitution, the same reason why World Weekly News can claim every week that aliens are gonna kill us or whatever - it may be rediculous, but it's freedom of speech/press).

Search that site (main page of quackwatch) for Kevin Trudeau and there is tons of stuff against him - how all his claims are complete BS and straight out lies. Use the caveat emptor message here - if there really was a CURE for MS, doctors would have gotten the Nobel Prize. That man will surely be in the lower levels of Dante's Hell, so dont make him richer while he lives on Earth. In a quick statement, his claims are crap.
