This seems to be a good priced hotel with shuttle service. Any feedback from others who have stayed here for move in or parents weekend?

take a gander at Tripadvisors Nashville hotels and read the reviews there. Although the “usual suspects” hike up their fees on West End and on Division Streets near the campus on campus event weekends, I would consider the Hampton Inn and Suites Opryland (good reviews) or a Brentwood hotel (check reviews–we stay there on busy weekends) to save money. It is an easy drive from Brentwood to Vandy…up Granny White Pike or up 65N to 440.

Nashville can be a deal in off weekends but it does get a great deal of convention business so it can be disappointing re hotel rates. We stay in Brentwood to save money. We also stay in Lebanon or an hour from the city on the interstate on date of arrival to save money where hotels are so much less expensive if our son can’t see us anyhow first thing in the morning.
When rooms are available on off weekends…my fave is the Hilton Garden Inn–nice beds. After that, I stay at the Hampton Inn near Centennial Park (free parking). Also the Embassy Suites Vandy…The Embassy Suites and the Hilton Garden Inn run shuttles but you don’t need them. You can walk to campus and to many good restaurants. Green Hills has a Hampton Inn as well but you have to meander down there down 21st. Most of the hotels on West End are acceptable.

I remember when what is called the Millenium now was built way back in the early 80s.
