Hello,
Student from California, I wanted to go and study to maybe the most beautiful city in the world they say: Paris. I have a business I am working on with a french entrepreneur, but i also wanted to keep studying. That’s why I want to go to ABS Paris (http://www.absparis.org/en/), an american business school suggested by that friend.
I think I won’t have much financial needs once the business will roll, but I may need financial support for the frist months, and I heard France is giving foreign students nice grants. Do they count for private schools? is anyone on the same boat as me? can anyone give advice?
Thanks in advance for your answers !
Are you going to apply for an auto-entrepreneur visa and then register for classes, or are you going to apply for a student visa through Campus France (which will limit your ability to work on your business)?
Typically, international students don’t get help at the start, but are able to apply for a housing subsidy after a few months. You’ll automatically be in the French health care system, which can save you a lot of money if you have medical costs. I don’t konw specifically about that school, but you need to be a resident of France to apply for government grants and loans. I know INSEAD has scholarships for internatioal students, so it’s not unheard of. You’d have to check with ABS Paris to see what, if anything, they have available.
