I'm surprised no one else has started this thread yet.

Did anything exceptionally good or bad happen?

I had a bit of both. First off the proctor was late so we were that last ones to enter our room. When she checked our tickets she kept them so I had to tell her later we needed them for the id #, so 15 minutes was wasted handing those out. The room was extremely hot and I was sweating the whole time. First section the proctor left off 5 minutes so we got an extra long break while that was sorted out. We ended up getting to use those 5 minutes, this actually was great because I was able to go back and correct two problems that I had first gotten wrong.

The rest of the test went smoothly until the proctor tried to take up our tests, we had to tell her about the cursive writing signature thing. Then she couldn't remember the order she set the tests out in so she took 20 minutes to get that sorted out.

Probably the only good thing was a I got a desk where I like it (middle of an end row) and I think I did ok despite the issues.

I had to pee really badly in the middle of a section and the guy nicely let me go, so I sprinted to the bathroom and back and when I got back I was out of breath but only missed a few minutes.

I got a ****ty seat, right in front of the proctor. I had to travel for 2.5 hours because my local test centre was full. When I reached the test centre, I was not allowed to go to the washroom until after section 2. I then peed on my hand and accidentally sprayed water all over my sweater.

I think i have a bad omen, the both times i took the test i mess up in the bubbling, badly.
For the second section of the reading i started 5 questions ahead, saw the mistake, and had to erase everything and rebubble. I think i also messed up in the other CRs because i read the questions first and then underlined the lines that were referenced, thing is that the questions dont always reference the line in order so i answered (i think) some of the questions in the wrong place.

I overheard a conversation between proctor 1 and proctor 2

1: check the calculators
2: for what?
1: they must be approved for the sat
2: how do I do that?
1: make sure they say “TI-83” on them
2: okay

Proctor 2 proceeds to walk around the room asking everybody to pull off the cover on their calculator so she can visually see “TI-83” inscribed above the screen. She gets to me and I have my big TI-Nspire CAS. She just stares for a second and moves on haha.

I used a TI-83 (with a few programs on it to help), but when they say you can finish the test without a complex calc, they mean it. One of my friends got an 800 on the math section with just a crappy Casio calc.

Test center never told anyone where to go, so I get there and I’m lost for a good 5 minutes on top of the 15 minutes I was late (I thought I had to be there by 8 not 7:45)…thank God I didn’t miss anything except the usual intro…the proctor was a bit of a…goody-two-shoes…she made sure we ate OUTSIDE the classroom, threatened to take our tests away if we went back to change answers, she made sure our tests were flat AT ALL TIMES (as if we really had the same test as our neighbor…).

I ate a small Butterfinger candy during my first break (a bit of sugar to jumpstart the system), went to the bathroom on the second break, and stayed in the room on the third.

I took my test book outside…worked some more on the stuff with some of my friends, consulted a couple teachers, one time i even resorted to asking the proctor how to do the question during the break (not much help there)…of course this was all during a daydream during the test…

Proctor: Are you left handed?
Guy: Yes
Proctor: Make him move to that seat and you sit in the lefty desk
Girl: I’m not a him, and I’m also left handed

started off in one room, and then half-way through the name/age/school stuff, a faint squeaking in the air conditioner annoyed a girl, so the proctor called up another proctor and they moved our entire room into a another room… the new room had an even louder, colder air conditioner…
