My undergrad CGPA is below 2.5. It's around 2.4. Does anyone know of ANY graduate school in the bayarea ( i.e. SanFrancisco, San Jose etc) that I can get into. The program does'nt really matter. Really need you help. Btw, my undergrad degree is in Electrical Engineering.

Are you looking for graduate programs in EE as well, then? Are you looking for masters or PhD? What about other aspects besides GPA that factor into grad school, like research experience, GRE, or letters or recommendation? It’s hard to give helpful advice without more information.

Hey Thanks ALOT for the replies. I’m looking for any major. Even EE will do. Recommendations and GRE are good not extraordinary. Any others choices will help to.

The exact gpa may be important. In threads from last year you say your gpa is 2.82. For some universities gpa qualifications are like SJSU

“The minimum GPA for admission to the university is a grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 in the last 60 semester or 90 quarter units (roughly two years).”

You can look at each college in the area and read the requirements, which will usually include gpa, on the website.

Why will any degree do? Can you explain? Is it to seek US visa?

This is an haphazard and frankly not a good way to look for a graduate program…why is it so important that you are in ANY graduate program for next year? Can you not get a full-time job?

When you say ANY program, do you mean any engineering field or any program at all? This could potentially be a tremendous waste of money for you.
