Any guess as to when on-line app will be available?

Any guess as to when on-line app will be available?

idk…but I hope it is available soon.

I’ve been waiting patiently for a couple of months…but now I’m getting anxious.

I mean, it says late august so it has be very soon.

still not up!

I have no clue either when the application will be live. It does say “Available late August 2009” but it’s already August 31st, so I’m not sure.

The good thing is that Georgia Tech has put up the essay questions. The essay is really the only thing that will take any time, filling out the actual application isn’t that hard. The only problem is that I can’t really think of any good ideas for either essay topic haha

Tomorrow. Just got home from connect with tech and the admissions people said they had trouble putting it online, but it should be on tomorrow.

Thanks proace360. I just checked right now and it’s not up yet, but lets hope it’s up by the afternoon!

Just focus on your essay and make sure you’ve sent your SAT scores to Tech. Once those two things are done, the rest of the application can be done in an hour or two at the most.

Right, do we have to complete both of the essays or just one?

* We would recommend you begin working on your admission essay. Ultimately, you will be able to copy and paste your text into the appropriate essay portion of our application (Your essay should not exceed 5000 characters).

 • Please expand upon an aspect(s) of your academic or extra-curricular background that you feel is especially important to you and that will help us to get to know you as a person.
 • Georgia Tech is proud to draw students from around the United States and countries throughout the world. This unique compilation of academic interests, personal backgrounds, and various life experiences creates an exciting and inspiring educational mix. Given your personal background, what would you hope to learn and contribute through becoming part of this sort of campus community?

I think one of the two essays, not both.

Remember that the application is all that GT sees of you. Spend some time to improve your writing, fix typos, etc. GT will probably have 12-13,000 applications this year, so make sure yours is as good as it can be!

Thanks GPBurdell32.

I was thinking about doing the first essay topic, could I talk about my volunteering service that I’ve done? I’m really committed to this one organization and have done a lot with them. Or should I talk about an academic subject or like a club that is important?

Everyone, the application is finally up! Good luck
