My daughter tried to take the SAT March 14th but it was cancelled. She immediately signed up for May but was sent an email it was cancelled. We are supposed to be on vacation June and that leaves the next date is August? Starting to get a bit worried that it is leaving it late… Do you all think they are going to add several new dates? Are colleges maybe going to waive the scores or allow the scores to be submitted a bit later?
Any thoughts?
CollegeBoard (as well as ACT) has said they will try to add dates this summer. Would your D be able to take the June SAT at the location where you will on vacation?
A number of schools have gone test optional in the last week or so (Oregon, Tufts, Case Western), and more are likely to follow…but it is still preferable for most students to have a test score, IMO.
Schools may push their deadlines back too, time will tell.
I sure hope they add summer dates! We are schedule to go to Orlando so she could take the test there, but if not, we would be 3000 miles away. Not sure if she can book for both places? We have no clue where she will be.
